Mum Got Sick On Our Holiday

A Holiday With One Sick Wife

You play the stepdad on a family trip that goes wrong the moment the plane lands. Your wife falls ill, blames the prawns, and from her bed one floor up she texts instructions: look after Harriet, her adult daughter, and keep her happy all week.

Harriet is an adult, 23, and she knows what she wants. She is nervous but eager, and she reads her mother’s instructions in the most flexible way available. The tension lives on the phone, since every text from upstairs makes the arrangement harder to refuse.

Episodes of Mum Got Sick On Our Holiday

1. Episode 1 Your wife has been sick since landing and asks you to keep Harriet entertained. Harriet wants suncream on her back, then points out you missed the front. When her mother calls, Harriet covers for you, and a curtained VIP day bed gets floated, supposedly for the shade.
2. Episode 2 It stays on the holiday, with your wife still unwell upstairs and Harriet still wanting company.
3. Episodes 3–5 The synopsis asks one question for the finish: can you give Harriet what she wants before your wife finds out? The last three episodes pick that up.

Harriet, the adult stepdaughter, has her own plan for the week, which suits anyone who likes the stepdad-and-stepdaughter angle played as a second-person situation, with your wife one text away at all times. A short runtime and cliffhanger endings are the trade-offs, plus the tokens due after the free two. More in the same vein sits in our stepmom and MILF collection.
