Staycation with My Fiancee’s Mother

Engaged to Sophie, Drawn to Her Mother

The series opens with a confession in voiceover: Jake was engaged to Sophie, then met her mother and could not stop. That settles the main question; what remains is how far it goes and how long it stays hidden. Mrs. Veronica Parker is confident and happy to take the lead.

The synopsis supplies the pressure: a flirtation that spirals into an affair on a lakeside holiday, a moment when they are almost caught, and unexpected events that threaten to expose everything. With the family gathered around a happy engagement, every toast becomes a place to stay composed. It suits viewers who like a secret that keeps getting harder to hide.
