I Picked Up a Hitchhiker

One ride across the desert

The situation is the whole pitch: a gorgeous hitchhiker stranded on an empty desert road, and the one driver who stops is the most average guy in the world, in a beat-up pickup. The mismatch drives the premise, since the pairing looks unlikely on paper. Both are adults, and the setting is as bare as the road.

A simple premise for quick viewing

Choose it for the stripped-down setup and a lead who stands out against her surroundings. It is short, only three episodes cost tokens, and there is nothing here beyond the roadside encounter. If you want a more layered story, look at Tori’s Broken Vows.
