She Was Sent to Kill Me

A Hunter Who Owes Her Target

This is a survival-game story rather than a seduction one, and the premise rests on a reversal. Eli is expected to fall first. Delilah Kane is the hunter the game points at him, with one job.

What changes the math is a choice made before the order lands. Eli gave up his chance to escape so that Delilah would get out, which means that when the game tells her to kill him, she is already in his debt. The series lives on that debt and on whether a rule can outweigh it.
